Waterproof cold melt tape is a kind of tape which can be well shaped with strong adhesion, which can mainly provide the waterproofing and sealing effect, especially for automobile wiring harness.

Waterproof cold melt tape is a kind of tape which can be well shaped with strong adhesion, which can mainly provide the waterproofing and sealing effect, especially for automobile wiring harness. The butyl rubber is the main raw material of this tape, with a strong self-adhesive, and it brings excellent waterproofing and electrical insulation properties. When this waterproof cold melt tape is combined with specially designed heat-shrinkable dual wall tube and shrink furnace system, it can achieve 100% sealing performance for the automotive wiring harness.
Features:
- Installing the tape at a low heating temperature can reduce the thermal stress and protect the cable insulation layer;
- Smooth and even composition material brings the excellent insulation performance;
- With excellent covering performance, suitable for the insulation, filling and sealing usage of the complex structures (especially sealing for the S-type wiring harness sheath of car door);
- Excellent adhesion performance for PVC, XLPE and PP-EPDM cable;
- Excellent waterproofing can prevent from the moisture air permeability;
- Excellent melting resistance against the kerosene, aviation oil and lubricating oil;
- Long-term resistance against the thermal aging.
