Flame retardant and arc proofing tape is a non-adhesive tape with fireproof, heat insulation and arc resistance, specially used for fireproofing of cables. Flame retardant and arc proofing tape will expand rapidly when exposed to fire, and a thick carbon compound will be created between the fire source and the cable or cable joint, to eventually maintain heat insulation and fire prevention. Moreover, this tape has excellent arc resistance. In the event of arc caused by damaged cable insulation, followed by fire, it can act as a barrier.
